About Me
In my senior year of engineering school, I decided to take a black & white photography course.
It changed my life.
I did give engineering a try. I met wonderful colleagues and clients, I learned valuable lessons, but after four years I pivoted to photography. I have looked forward to Monday mornings ever since! I get to tell stories… about the places where we live, where we work, where we learn, and where we play. Sometimes it’s the story of an individual, other times it’s a massive institution. It never gets old. Being the person with the camera not only means being invited into interesting places, it means being invited into people's lives. It is always an opportunity to observe, learn, and connect. It is such a privilege to share those amazing collaborations. In fact, we’d love to tell your story.
What I am: 1. Madly curious, 2. A problem solver, 3. Ready to climb over, under, or though, 4. An unrepentant optimist.
What I am NOT: 1. The most important person in the room, 2. A fan of the words “can’t” or “good enough,” 3. A picky eater (although my mother may have disagreed at one time.)
If I’m not taking pictures I am: 1. Baking pizzas, 2. Trying to learn guitar, 3. Fixing broken things, 4. Out somewhere being a sports dad.
My favorite photographs are: The ones that make me want to know more.
